Great Plains Art Museum to host Elizabeth Burden for two-week residency

Artists (left to right) Jessica Moore Harjo, Marci Black, Regina Waters and Paul Lucero, work on a mural on the east-facing wall of the Lincoln Indian Center. The mural is one part of a joint project between the Center for Great Plains Studies and the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma funded by a Mellon Foundation grant. It features indigenous plants and is emblazoned with the words "Nyi Bráthge," or flat water.
